I35 Bridge Replacement Print

The Situation:

Due to an August 1, 2007 bridge collapse, the I35W highway in Minneapolis, Minnesota needed replacement.  The replacement project design incorporated a watertight pedestrian underpass under the new bridge, requiring sealing products of the highest watertight integrity.

The Solution:

ConSeal products were used to provide this required watertight seal.  CS-102 was used to seal the interior section of the joints and CS-212 was used to wrap the exterior of the joints along with CS-75, a water based primer used to ensure a secure seal.
