Case Study #7 - Steam Tunnel Installation

THE SITUATION:  Construction of a trench which would serve as a utility run for plumbing and steam lines, required the installation of a three-sided concrete structure with precast cap.
 

THE SOLUTION: With temperatures in the trench projected to reach in excess of 130°F, ConSeals durable CS-102 Butyl Rubber Sealant was chosen to effectively seal the joining precast concrete trench sections.
